Figment Of My Imagination?

Wrote to Carrie... she never replied.
I sat on my Macbook sipping my mocha and whip...
but nothing.
My Givenchy kept me company for a short while...but it was
not the same as Ms. Bradshaw herself.
"I got to thinking"....what if she doesnt exsist?

Hello my name is Carly and I am an Addict. I would prefer to stay anonymous but my stylist says this is the first step to recovery. They call my addiction"Clubism." It is a deadly and toxic drug. Clubism is the over spending and splurging of Club shopping....Club Monaco that is.
My addiction is having an absolute obsession over the look, the feel, the essence, the style of the brand Club Monaco. I would own every article of clothing if my bank account didn't suffer the consequences and my MasterCard did not reap all the benefits. I have worked the steps and taken it day by day, but somehow I still find myself slipping through the cracks. My addiction just always takes control. It starts off with small slip ups, such as simple outings to the mall or quick online peek at the new months collection....but it always leads to a full blown relapse. Instead of focusing on my relapse prevention or my recovery, I focus on how thrilling it will feel to try on that Figure-Skimming Lani Silk Dress. Placed so unblemished on the mannequin. Playing coy with me, but desperately coaxing me to try on. So I walk-in, clutch the hanger that withholds the trance I'm about to slip into and I feel the rush of adrenaline kick in. Suddenly my addiction takes over. My mind and body urging to try on this precocious piece of art. The change room is bright and demanding. The silk fabric and impeccable stitching graze my body. The mirror causes rushes of emotion and it is over. I'm sold. I'm spent. I have the effortless white bag in hand. I leave the store. I relapsed.

The New Testament

Dear Lord. Sitting alone, wearing $500 bargain Lanvin Sneakers, my favorite pair of just-enough-worn Burgundy Leather J-brand's and my freshly pressed Charcoal Tuxedo Jacket by Stella McCartney. Topped off with my go-to Mcqueen scarf and my forever favorite white classic vintage tee. Accessorized and finished perfectly with the ever-so chic Chanel White Gold Watch circa S/S 2012 and my Vintage Hermes Clutch.  Oh and please bless Alexander and Karl (and let this night be worth the expensive risk). Crossing and uncrossing my legs, checking and then re-checking my clothes, playing out what will happen on my risque night ahead. Forgive me lord for I have sinned. The relentless and adulterated thoughts racing through my mind. But the most impure thought of all, is the thought that my virgin outfit will be screwed. Mother F*cker...I mean Teresa? Yes, you better believe it, god dammit, you better believe it. We all think it Lord, or at least women in fashion do. We all pray that the day will come that we will never have to squander away another outfit. Because oh heavenly father...we all know that every outfit deserves its recognition. That is however, before it has been used and washed away of its purity. So please bless my life with endless shin-digs and soirees so as to save my wardrobe from any impurities. AMEN.

Boyish Figures

Sequenced Bodice shirt with Long-sleeves  Club Monaco F/W 2010, Sequenced Clutch with Gold detailing Zara Collection, Inspiration from Abbey Lee Kershaw Vogue, Mustard Knee Length skirt Loft 82, Tan Sandal 4 inch Pumps Forever 21

This outfit in particular was greatly discouraging for my creative mind. It took me quite sometime to decide on whether or not I was going to pair this divine mustard creation of a skirt, with a seductive bralette or sultry sequence. I weighed the pros and cons of my dilemma, while of course indulging in a delectable treat of Vanilla Roobios tea, and inevitably came to a gratifying conclusion. And It might of been, just possibly, the off setting butterscotch honey of color that caused this stress but regardless I came to a predominate decision. The answer was blatant and profound..ahem..if only. With the lack of "girls" or "twins" I possess and the disturbingly excessive amounts of sequence I do, the answer was Swarovski clear. I shamefully stuffed the intimate piece of apparel into my mockery of lingerie (I like to call them my brassieres, but they are more like garments for a pubescent child) quickly snatched my go-to Club and acted as though it never occured. Voila..and a melodic masterpeice transpired.
